odd past few days.

Walking to work on the 26th, I got hit by a car. No injuries or anything, just, I was walking along the main street and as I crossed a crosswalk for a side street, some fucker decided to nearly run me over. He stopped (tires didn't squeal at all somehow though) and his bumper hit me just above the knee and I kind of fell into his car and yelled "oohh my god!" - I found it funny that in a surprise "life endangerment" situation I don't scream like a girl, I just yell a random phrase. Anyway, I wish I flipped over the guy's windshield and got money out of him. haha, asshole.

anyway, so then, I worked at the mall from open to close between my two jobs... technically, I was scheduled to leave at 7pm which is not closing time, but the power went out at 6:45pm and I managed to almost leave work on time. Walking home was so eerie, there were no lights anywhere. Entire city (maybe even island?) was in a blackout. 3 of my managers live on the other side of the island and they also had no power for over 12 hours. Traffic was all backed up. The only lights under the mall parking lot were the headlights of cars, so as I walked further to the corner I cut through, it was dark and there were noises from the floor above me. I really wished my phone wasn't broken because I wanted to make some video clips of stuff, it was so horror-movie-esque. I get to my apartment, and, you know I live on the 14th floor, right? had to walk up the stairs... no water at all so I couldn't get a shower. the power came on at 6:30am, I woke up and got a shower and stuff and had to work at the mall open to close yesterday.

On the walk to work, I told greg that I'd been considering moving back to PA when the lease is up. He's trying to get me to tell him exactly where that leaves "us" and if we're off or on or whatever, and I honestly don't know how to answer any of that. I know I hurt him and I don't want to make it any worse, so I told him it's his decision what we are, and he keeps saying it has to be my decision since I'm the one that's fucking everything up. Still don't know where that leaves us, I was tired from working 14 hours so I went to sleep.

now, it's going on noon, and I have to be at work at 1pm. work work work. I actually have two days off this week, I can't beliiiieeeeve it!

in other news, my phone's status as of today is that it's gotten through US customs, which I think means I should get it today! I'm hoping the phone wouldn't go through the mainland or something screwed up like that.... so if it went through customs that means it's on my island, and there's no reason why I can't have it today damnit!
